What a day we had in Toowoomba at the 2026 FarmFest! Truro Valentino was crowned Champion British Bull, going on to compete in the Battle of the Bulls. Up against the Champion European Bull and Champion Tropical bull , Truro Valentino was named Supreme Bull of the Show and won the Battle of the Bulls.

Judge Terry Connors, from Rockhampton, said the bull caught his eye the moment he came out in his class. Valentino’s correctness, strength of spine and natural muscle pattern made him first choice in the class and went on to win overall.

Truro Van Gogh, Sydney Grand Champion, was a close second to Valentino in their class, with Mr Connors saying it was difficult to split the two bulls. The two bulls have taken in turns to win at all the regional shows throughout the season.

It was a great couple of days, getting to catch up with so many people and meet a number of new faces as well! Toowoomba FarmFest has not seen the last of Team Truro!
